A former hospital technician who
pleaded guilty to videotapping an undressed woman under anesthesia in an
operating room faces deportation after being arrested on immigration
violations.
Jose Rostro of
Bolingbrook pleaded guilty last month and was sentenced to probation earlier
this month. The incident happened last October at Edward Hospital in
Naperville.
U.S. Immigration and
Customs Enforcement agents arrested the 24-year-old -- a Mexican national -- at
his Bolingbrook home after finding out that he allegedly was living in the
United States illegally.
Rostro
is in ICE custody and is being held without bond until his hearing with a
federal immigration judge.
