CONWAY, N.H. --Three people described by police as part of an illegal immigrant shoplifting ring from New York have been arrested in Conway.

Police were called to Aeropostale clothing store after workers reported seeing two women and a man stealing merchandise. The workers chased them to a parking lot, where they drove off in a van that was tracked and stopped by police.

Investigators said they recovered thousands of dollars in merchandise taken from stores in the Mount Washington Valley.

Sonia Silva Cabrera, 61; Cecilia Carti Jena-Munoz, 49; and Roberto E. Nilo Andrate, 22, all of New York, face various state charges as well as federal immigration law violations.
